What happens when an account is deleted

Deleting an account permanently removes the account and database records linked to it, including sessions, portfolios, owned-card records, grading data, and linked collection history.

Still-image scan material and training records are not currently keyed to account IDs and may not be removed automatically with account deletion. To request deletion of scan material, reply to or include in your request the approximate scan date and the card shown, so we can try to locate it.

We may retain limited information where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement. Restricted backup copies may remain temporarily until overwritten through normal backup cycles.
